Would This Be A Worthy Build?
Rodgorts
Incendiary Bonds
FireBall
Lava Font
Arcane Echo
Elemental Attunement
Fire Attunement
Ether Feast
Fire 13-16 Depending on how high u want fire and other attribute
Earth/Inspiration 9-12 in either attribute depending on skill of ur choice
Energy Storage 12/15 Typically earth can be higher if u like, all depends on u
Etherfeast can be swapped with other spells like defensive types(wards/mantras/elemental resistance/kinetic/armor of earth/etc), or aura of restoration if u dont wanna add any points into inspiration/earth to max fire and have as much energy storage as possible, which is also one of my favorite attribute distribution method 16 fire, 15 storage. Ofcourse you would need a fire sup rune and energy storage rune on the armor pieces of ur choice.
Typically if you carry around a Rago staff your buffs will last a little more so u can keep these enchantments(provided they dont get stripped or interrupted) almost indefinately. The progression of skills cast before and during the attacks are as follows: Cast Aura of restore, then fire attunement, then elemental attunement, wait a few seconds 3 or 5, cast arcane echo, then rodgorts, fireball, rodgorts again(thanks to arcane echo), incendiary bonds, and fireball again. If done like these you do huge AOE damage, keep the mobs on fire almost at all times, and save loads of energy....saving 80% of the cost of each spell cast. Well, its possible this has been thought of before, let me know if u guys like it, or what can be done to better it =)

Hi
First, always cast aura AFTER the attunements, as a cover enchantment (tyhe game removesw the last enchantment cast (with the exception of kinetic armour) so you are more likely to keep your attunemnts.
Apart from that its farily decent, but attunements are just so easy to strip at the moment.

Yea Im thinking of incorporating Obsidian Flesh instead of Elemental Attunement for those areas of enchant strippers, the +20 armor and spell immunity is very nice, despite the 30 second timer =/

You could always try using Serpent's Quickness for unlimited Obs Flesh.

No energy management?
Lava Font makes foes scatter.
What use do you have for Earth?
That's quite a lot of Superior runes around.
Aside from these points, it's all right.

The only defense is Ether Feast (not a lot of self-healing per unit of time) and Lava Font (makes them scatter).
That's not enough to be ideal for solo farming.
But if it's a build for a group, where's your rez?

To clarify what i should have from the beginning, lava font is in this buildfor no other reason than that which u mentioned, scattering mobs, when u dont have a defensive skill at your disposal this is a great spell to use to get mobs off ur back, has saved me countless times, and can deal a good amount of damage, recharge is nice and mana consumption is quite low. As for the person who mentioned lack of energy management, both of the skills in that build make my spells 80% cheaper, provided they dont get stripped, you can also incorporate obsidian flesh replacing elemental attunement and glyph of lesser energy instead of ether feast for areas with enchant strippers as i mentioned in the OP, as for the question of why raise earth i suggest u reread the OP again as u might have missed a few things(possibly because u skipped what i actually wrote). Two sup skill runes are not bad, its up to you, personally it works well for me. Also to clarify this build is more a pvp or pve group build, not a pve solo build.

Well, if they don't get stripped, it's all right.
EDIT: I really don't think this will work in PvP.

Mark or Rodgort or Rodgorts Invocation?
Invocation has the potential to do some serious damage, but the thing that kills it, IMO, is that it costs 25 to cast and with a casting time of 5 seconds it has to be one of the easiest skills to interupt in the whole game.

I think he means Invocation.
If it's PvE, then it doesn't really matter, anyways.

For a group build it's pretty selfisn
-- no rez
-- the Lava Font scattering trick may just shift attackers from you to your teammates

Hmm...i wouldn't call no-rez ele selfish...there are other classes that can fit rez more easily in their build then heavy energy dependant ele.
For a group build I agree with Francis. PBAoE is not really good in group PvE builds. I tried it for a while, but it's no good really...keep tanking to tanks, stay in the back and rain armageddon. And your monk will be glad for it.
Oh yeah....and keep discussion constructive. Whether it's a good build or not, people should be encouraged to post their builds! Ele's are a dying breed anyways, keep em alive I say!
